GTA 6 lands on 19 November 2026. There are no codes to punch in yet, so the confirmed list stays empty. Until launch, we're using what we know about Leonida to rank the classic cheat codes most likely to return and the new tricks that could fit the game.

What we know about the game
The best bets come from the systems GTA 6 is built around. Here's what makes your old favourite cheats plausible and where Leonida gives them room to change.
The wanted level can climb to six stars, while police can work from witnesses, alarms, your face, clothes, vehicle and whether Jason and Lucia were seen together. Swapping cars or changing your look can now matter as much as escaping the search area.
Jason and Lucia can conceal two handguns. Long guns stay visible or go into a vehicle, and carrying one openly changes how people and police react. The old give-weapons cheat would need to work around a much tighter loadout.
Both leads can use Focus to slow a firefight and pick out lethal or incapacitating hit zones. That gives GTA 6 a ready-made reason to turn the old slow-motion cheat into endless Focus or an instant refill.
Food changes their weight, exercise builds muscle and lost sleep shows on their faces. Those systems put San Andreas-style body, stamina, running and swimming cheats back on the table.
CCTV can identify the protagonists, security footage can be erased and marked cash may need laundering. Other criminals can also stumble into robberies of their own. GTA 6 is already built for both careful clean-ups and complete NPC chaos.
The footage covers cars, dirt bikes, jet skis, fanboats, kayaks, swimming, scuba diving and base jumping. Vehicle spawns should have a much stranger toy box, while parachute and movement cheats have obvious places to return.

These are GTA 6 cheats effect predictions, not codes. The confidence score is simply how surprised we'd be if each one missed the final game.
The emergency reset has survived nearly every modern GTA. There is no reason for Leonida to be the exception.
Wanted stars are back with a six-star ceiling. Starting the biggest possible chase is pure GTA.
The classic escape button should return, although clearing the stars may not wipe every face, clothing or vehicle clue.
This is a series staple. The interesting question is whether spare long guns appear in the personal car instead of your pocket.
Cars, bikes, helicopters and boats are made for instant spawns. Leonida should give the list far more variety.
GTA V made it temporary. GTA 6 could keep the timer so you can cause havoc without making every mission meaningless.
Sunshine, tropical storms and whatever else Leonida can throw at you make this old favourite a natural fit.
Base jumping is already part of free roam, so an instant parachute would be useful rather than a nostalgia pick.
Focus already slows time and marks weak spots. A full meter or no-drain version makes more sense than generic slow motion.
Running, swimming and controllable diving all have more depth, giving the familiar movement cheats plenty to work with.
A stolen car loses value when it is wrecked. Instantly fixing your ride would be one of the most useful cheats in the game.
Persistent weight, muscle, exercise and sleep bring back the sort of stats San Andreas once let players bend.
A clean-slate cheat could erase the face, clothing, vehicle and CCTV clues that survive beyond the first burst of pursuit.
Leonida’s NPCs can already commit crimes and derail your plans. A cheat that turns that behaviour up to eleven feels possible.
The playable couple can travel, fight and switch together. GTA 6 has room for a cheat that changes one lead or the pair.
Banked cash, pocket money, stolen goods, marked notes and laundering are too interesting to flatten with a magic wallet.
Built-in GTA cheats belong in Story Mode. GTA 6 Online is far more likely to keep them out completely.
Where the classic cheats could change
Losing the stars and erasing a description are no longer obviously the same thing. GTA 6 could split them into two different effects.
With only two concealed handguns and long guns stored in cars, the personal vehicle could become part arsenal and part getaway machine.
An instant refill, endless meter or slower drain would build on the system GTA 6 already has instead of dropping another slow-motion layer on top.
Max muscle, full stamina, fast running and fast swimming all mean more when food, exercise, sleep and movement leave a lasting mark.
Controller or phone?
GTA V let you punch in button combinations or dial numbers on the phone. We'd be surprised if GTA 6 threw both ideas away, especially when the phone is such a big part of life in Leonida.
The launch versions will need separate PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S instructions. We'll lay them out side by side so nobody has to translate controller buttons in their head.
Quick answers
Not yet. GTA 6 is not in players’ hands, so there are no real button combinations or phone numbers to use.
We would be amazed if it did not. Cheats have been part of every modern mainline GTA, and the best candidates are ranked on this page.
Probably not, but they are the first combinations we will try. Rockstar has reused ideas before, not necessarily the exact inputs.
There is a good chance. GTA IV and GTA V both used phone numbers, and the phone is even more important in GTA 6.
Health and armor, weapons, wanted-level controls and vehicle spawns are our strongest bets because they have survived across the series.
This site is for built-in Story Mode cheats. We do not cover mod menus, exploits or anything designed to ruin somebody else’s game.
Probably. That is how GTA V handled them. Save first until we know exactly what GTA 6 does.
